Fiona Dawson’s take

I had a wonderful birthday on Tuesday.  I took the day off work, bought myself a lovely new journal, and took a seat at a cafe table in Bryant Park.  I then named my new book my, “Thought Revolution Journal” and proceeded in starting my homework.  It was a beautiful afternoon and I relished in taking time out for mental and emotional self-care.
My dominant hand described myself as a female lion.  My non-dominant, a small fluffy kitten.  When I came to the “This is my life now” I had an overwhelming ‘ah-ha’ moment.  I drew two pictures.  One where my activities were grouped and organized very specifically – although some places are VERY heavy… stuck in a ball and chain.  Whereas my non-dominant hand described squiggly chaos, surrounded by question marks, where I am depicted as a tiny stick person right in the middle with a massive star, almost swallowed up in my own dream desires.
It was awesome.  I’ve finished reading the book and now I will continue to journal in this way.  Thank you for sharing your knowledge and talent with the world. –Fiona Dawson
